Birder, Ecologist and Tour Leader. Based in Ellington, Cambridgeshire, UK. Keen photographer interested in all taxa. Although primarily an ornithologist I studied hoverflies of the genus Eristalis for my MSc dissertation.
As of 2026 I've visited c65 countries and have seen c 5,500 species of bird in addition to hundreds of mammals, insects and herps, the vast majority of which I've managed to photograph. One day I'll get around to cataloguing everything.
